Rugby League – State of Origin Series – Game 3: July 12th 2017 – 5pm

The 2017 State of Origin series will be the 37th time the annual best-of- three series between the Queensland and New South Wales rugby league teams. Game 1 and 3 will be played in Queensland at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, with game 2 being played across the border at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium.

I-Rovers Sports Bar has become the place where Aussies gather in Pattaya to watch the State of Origin contests as the 21 flatscreen televisions with surround sound provide for a great atmosphere.

The 2017 series should be an absolute beauty with former State of Origin legends at the helm of both teams. Kevin Walters coaches Queensland, while Laurie Daley is in charge of New South Wales. It will be

Daley’s 5th year as the Blues coach, having won the series in 2014, while Kevin Walters was able to steer the Maroons to a series win in 2015 in his first year at the helm of the Maroons. Queensland leads the series ledger with 19 wins to the New South Wales’ 14 series victories (with 2 drawn series).
